Help-Desk Technician
Cogent IT has been providing managed IT services in the greater Portland metro area since 2003. We are a NW regional IT provider working with small and midsize businesses to deliver innovative IT solutions.
We are seeking a full time help-desk technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide remote and onsite technical support to customers and execute various client and internal projects. Candidates will have a bachelor degree in a technical discipline or 2 to 5 years of experience with direct customer technical support.
As a help-desk technician you will join our team providing excellent customer support to our customers. Our team actively manages our customers IT solutions. The successful candidate will engage in all help-desk activities which range from basic Windows workstation support to server and network outages.
Successful candidates will have experience installing, configuring, and supporting the following solutions:

The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and insurance. Must be willing to deliver products and provide onsite support in and around the Portland Metro area.
